On Thursday the Lady Patriot soccer team defeated Woodside by a score of 3-0. The Lady Patriots scored early when Kendyl Smith took a shot from distance and the ball skipped on the wet grass through the Woodside Goal keepers hands for a 1-0 lead. A few minutes later Natalia Martin unloaded a rocket of a shot into the upper left corner of the goal from 35 yards out to take a 2-0 lead. Late in the second half a cross from the outside came through the Woodside box. The ball had a pinball effect and found itself on the foot of Madysen Snyder who one timed a shot which found the net for the final goal of the game. Assists went to Alyssa Wells, Madysen Snyder and Kendyl Smith. Erica Bolinger and Ashton Blaha combined for the shutout win in net. Blaha also stopped a penalty kick just before the game ended. The Lady Patriots record remained perfect and is currently 6-0-1. They travel to East NobleMonday for a 6:30 start. Their next home game will be Tuesday vs. Indian Springs
