Girls' Track and Field Press Release!

The DeKalb Middle School JV Track team defeated both Woodside Middle School and New Haven Middle School in a tri-meet that was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at New Haven. The score of the meet was DeKalb 45- Woodside 37 and New Haven 30.  The JV Patriot girls track team is now 6-0.  The girls that placed first were Shiloh Miller with 100 meter hurdles, Kalie Rice that ran 800 meter run, and Madison Riley with Long Jump. The girls that placed second were Kalie Rice with 1600 meter run. Sara Muckenfuss, Shiloh Miller, Morgan Spade, and Caitlyn Taylor with 400 meter relay. Emily Lane ran a 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash. Jordan Stayer did 100 meter hurdles. Braeden Parker got second in Discus. Sara Muckenfuss placed second in Long Jump. Sarah Fetter, Kalie Rice, Iris Norton, and Sarah Williams ran a 1600 meter relay to place second. The girls that placed third place were Sarah Williams with 400 meter dash and Devon Winebrenner with Shot Putt.  The girls that placed fourth were Krysten Butler with 400 meter dash, and Seirra Fike that shot Discus.  The Patriots will host Angola Middle School on Monday, April 28th at 5:00 p.m.
