Eight DeKalb Middle school students did a fantastic job representing our school Saturday February 21 during the DeKalb Central Schools annual Science Fair.
Brooke-destinee Lockwood was awarded first place and was awarded the Best Engineering Project award for her project, "Avoid Stressing Out". Gabe Hefty took second place and the Best Conservation Award for his project, "Self Cleaning Fish Bowl, Phase II". Sydney Hefty was awarded third place for her project, "The effects of aluminum foil in frozen food shelf life". All three will move on to regional competition at Trine University.
Hannah Perkins was awarded honorable mention and Ian Heimann was awarded Best Presenter.
