Science Fair
Science Fair
Science Fair is an opportunity for students to apply the scientific method to a question of their own choosing. They apply the scientific method to independent research. After conducting research, designing and conducting an experiment, collecting data, and analyzing results, they make a display board and develop a presentation to share with judges on Science Fair judging day in February. From this opportunity, students can advance to regionals and then state.
Our 6th-grade science classes have a Genius Hour project where students are given opportunities to begin a science fair project right within the classroom.
For more information, please view our DeKalb Central Schools' Science Fair Website.
