Marigold

Marigold

At DeKalb Middle School, we celebrate and honor our teachers through the Marigold Award. This recognition is given to staff members for their outstanding accomplishments, dedication, and positive impact on our school community.

The name comes from the idea of marigolds in a garden. Marigolds are companion plants that protect, encourage, and help other plants grow stronger. In the same way, our Marigold Award winners are those who uplift others, inspire growth, and contribute to a thriving environment at DMS.

By recognizing and celebrating our “marigolds,” we affirm the culture of collaboration, encouragement, and excellence that makes DeKalb Middle School a special place to learn and grow.
