KINDERGARTEN & NEW INCOMING STUDENT REGISTRATION

STEP 1: Enter your address in the School Locator to know your elementary school of preference for the first step.

STEP 2: Complete Student Enrollment.

STEP 3: Once approved, follow the instructions in the approved enrollment email.

 

PRESCHOOL (4 years old by August 1, 2025)

STEP 1: Enter your address School Locator to know your elementary school of preference for the first step.

STEP 2: Complete Student Enrollment.

STEP 3: Once approved, follow the instructions in the approved enrollment email.

 

CURRENT STUDENT 2025-2026 REGISTRATION

Option 1: PowerSchool Website 

    • Select the student you are registering, and click on the "Forms" link within the left navigation menu.
    • Complete all 25-26 Registration forms.

Option 2: PowerSchool Mobile App

        • Select the student you are registering, and click the "More" icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
        • Select "Forms" and complete all 25-26 Registration forms.

 

2025-2026 TRANSFER REQUEST

Transfer Requests 


This applies to the following students: 

      • Students wanting to transfer into the DeKalb Central School District or
      • DeKalb Central, Elementary/PreK students wanting an intra-district transfer to attend a different elementary.


This is a yearly requirement for all transfer students. Prior accepted transfer requests will need to be renewed at the beginning of each school year.
